{"id":2564,"date":"2016-08-21T20:38:53","date_gmt":"2016-08-21T20:38:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clydesdalehockey.org.uk\/staging\/?page_id=2564"},"modified":"2023-05-24T09:55:02","modified_gmt":"2023-05-24T09:55:02","slug":"joining","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/clydesdalehockey.org.uk\/staging\/joining\/","title":{"rendered":"Membership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Club are <strong>always<\/strong> looking for new members.<\/p>\n<p>If you have recently moved to the area, been inspired by the hockey on TV or are returning to the sport after a break please get in touch at <a href=\"mailto:membership@clydesdalehockey.org.uk\">membership@clydesdalehockey.org.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Why join Clydesdale or Clydesdale Western?&nbsp; The club has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An open and welcoming outlook based around enjoying and participating in the sport at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Fantastic facilities including its own water-based internationally approved pitch, its own clubhouse, bar and changing facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Elite coaches available to the players challenging them to achieve their goals.<\/li>\n<li>Top teams playing at the highest levels in Scotland.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for juniors to play in appropriate age group hockey.<\/li>\n<li>A pool of qualified coaches and volunteers to provide quality training to young and old.<\/li>\n<li>A pathway designed to develop and nurture young people&nbsp;to&nbsp;grow and enjoy their sport as players, officials or coaches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The club currently runs six Ladies teams and five Men&#8217;s teams which provide a wide spectrum of opportunities for everyone to take part in the sport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Training times<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Training for female recreational players is on Monday evenings from 18:30-20:00.&nbsp; For male recreational players, training is on Wednesday from 19:00-20.30.&nbsp; Ladies and Men&#8217;s sessions are designed for all standards.<\/li>\n<li>The elite squads (Men and Ladies) train on Tuesday and Thursday nights.\n<ul>\n<li>Ladies: Tuesday (18:30-20:00) and Thursday (20:00-21:30)<\/li>\n<li>Mens: Tuesday (20:00-21:30) and Thursday (18:15-20:00)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Subscriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Membership of the club is by annual subscription to <em>Clydesdale Cricket Club.&nbsp; <\/em>Membership entitles you to use the clubhouse and bar at Clydesdale Cricket Club (22 Beaton Road, Pollokshields, Glasgow G41 4LB).<\/p>\n<p>Members can also hire the facility for functions and private parties.<\/p>\n<p>One annual <em>playing<\/em> subscription entitles the member to play both Cricket and Hockey.<\/p>\n<p>Hockey Subscriptions are due to be paid on 1st October each year and can paid in installments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rates<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Social Membership: \u00a350.00<\/li>\n<li>Adult Playing Membership: \u00a3275.00<\/li>\n<li>U23&#8217;s&nbsp;Playing\/Student Membership: \u00a3155.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you wish to join please contact the club at<span style=\"color: #0b0113;\"> by completing the application form at the side if the page or visit our sister club site <a href=\"http:\/\/clydesdale.clubbuzz.co.uk\/\">here.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Membership Rates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registration for Junior Hockey is by completing the online form which can be accessed by clicking this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSc4_Pl0vdAzSc__X2qu4VE6KYQ_6NjawzaNXFyc1rW3h52ULg\/viewform\"><span style=\"color: #339966;\">link<\/span><\/a>.
