The Club is looking for volunteers to help with the following roles.<\/p>\n
The Hockey Committee sits at least six times a year or more often if required.\u00a0 We would like to add a Marketing & Communications Officer<\/a>, a Junior Convenor<\/a> and a Club Secretary<\/a>.<\/p>\n Communications is vital to the smooth running of the Club.\u00a0 Today, there is a myriad of communication channels and the Club has a number of volunteers who write content to these channels.\u00a0 There are a number of key messages that need to go to current members, potential members and to the wider community.\u00a0 We are looking for somebody to co-ordinate the messaging.\u00a0 The Club also needs to manage its existing partnerships and nurture new ones with corporate and public bodies.\u00a0 For more details on the Marketing and Communications Officer, please click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Club delivers a significant junior programme.\u00a0 There are events on every day of the week delivered by a team of dedicated volunteers.\u00a0 The Club is looking for a person to drive the programme, support the volunteers and help them drive the club’s programmes forward, growing engagement and ensuring a high standard of delivery is achieved.\u00a0 To find out more about this opportunity, please click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Club is also looking for a Secretary to help the committee run efficiently.\u00a0 This person would be a key point of contact with Scottish Hockey, would be responsible for player registration on the “Core” system and would organize and minute meetings.\u00a0 They would make a significant contribution to the smooth operation of the committee.
