Marketing & Communications Officer  
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clydesdale Hockey Club is one of the leading hockey clubs in Scotland with teams playing at the highest levels of domestic competition and in European events.  The Club has a large junior section and offers opportunities for all ages to get involved.<\/p>\n

The Club wishes to appoint a volunteer to promote the Club, attract new members, engage with current members and to develop partnerships with commercial and public bodies.<\/p>\n

The position will work with the Hockey Committee and have an input into the strategic direction of the Club.<\/p>\n

Objectives
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To generate new members to the club, at both junior and senior levels.<\/li>\n
  2. To increase engagement of the members in activities at the Club.<\/li>\n
  3. Seek out and develop new partnerships for the Club.<\/li>\n
  4. Increase the number of interactions with social media.<\/li>\n
  5. Deliver a strategy to increase membership.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Attend committee meetings and contribute to the strategic development of the Club. There will be approximately six meetings a year.<\/li>\n
    2. Create a calendar of activities to be promoted throughout the year.<\/li>\n
    3. Co-ordinate a team of \u201cContributors\u201d to post messages on Social Media to reflect the strategic objectives.<\/li>\n
    4. Develop marketing materials to promote the club and generate new partnerships.<\/li>\n
    5. Manage the Club\u2019s partnerships with sponsors.<\/li>\n
    6. Manage the Club\u2019s database and direct emails to the membership secretary.<\/li>\n
    7. Ensure website is regularly up to date.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

      A knowledge of membership databases and email clients (Mailchimp) would be helpful. The person will need to bring a \u201chands on\u201d approach and a desire to contribute to the success of the Club.<\/p>\n
