{"id":3783,"date":"2018-09-02T10:41:19","date_gmt":"2018-09-02T10:41:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clydesdalehockey.org.uk\/staging\/?page_id=3783"},"modified":"2018-09-04T10:27:23","modified_gmt":"2018-09-04T10:27:23","slug":"3783-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/clydesdalehockey.org.uk\/staging\/3783-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Marketing and Communications Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Marketing &amp; Communications Officer &nbsp;<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clydesdale Hockey Club is one of the leading hockey clubs in Scotland with teams playing at the highest levels of domestic competition and in European events.&nbsp; The Club has a large junior section and offers opportunities for all ages to get involved.<\/p>\n<p>The Club wishes to appoint a volunteer to promote the Club, attract new members, engage with current members and to develop partnerships with commercial and public bodies.<\/p>\n<p>The position will work with the Hockey Committee and have an input into the strategic direction of the Club.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To generate new members to the club, at both junior and senior levels.<\/li>\n<li>To increase engagement of the members in activities at the Club.<\/li>\n<li>Seek out and develop new partnerships for the Club.<\/li>\n<li>Increase the number of interactions with social media.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver a strategy to increase membership.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Attend committee meetings and contribute to the strategic development of the Club. There will be approximately six meetings a year.<\/li>\n<li>Create a calendar of activities to be promoted throughout the year.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate a team of \u201cContributors\u201d to post messages on Social Media to reflect the strategic objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Develop marketing materials to promote the club and generate new partnerships.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Club\u2019s partnerships with sponsors.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Club\u2019s database and direct emails to the membership secretary.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure website is regularly up to date.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A knowledge of membership databases and email clients (Mailchimp) would be helpful.
