{"id":3786,"date":"2018-09-02T10:47:06","date_gmt":"2018-09-02T10:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clydesdalehockey.org.uk\/staging\/?page_id=3786"},"modified":"2018-09-04T10:38:58","modified_gmt":"2018-09-04T10:38:58","slug":"club-secretary","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/clydesdalehockey.org.uk\/staging\/club-secretary\/","title":{"rendered":"Club Secretary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Club Secretary<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clydesdale Hockey Club is one of the leading hockey clubs in Scotland with teams playing at the highest levels of domestic competition and in European events.&nbsp; The Club has a large junior section and offers opportunities for all ages to get involved.<\/p>\n<p>The Club wishes to appoint a volunteer to assist with the governance of the club.<\/p>\n<p>The position will work with the Hockey Committee and have an input into the strategic direction of the Club.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ensure the smooth running of the Club by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>co-ordinating a regular programme of commitments and recording the decision making and actions take or to be taken.<\/li>\n<li>Manage communications between the Club and Scottish Hockey.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all members are recorded on Scottish Hockey\u2019s \u201cCore\u201d system.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure details on \u201ccore\u201d are up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Book dates &amp; venue for committee meetings and communicate to the Club&#8217;s Hockey committee members.<\/li>\n<li>Minute meetings and decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Receive communication from Scottish Hockey and distribute to appropriate people.<\/li>\n<li>Enter Club&#8217;s Senior and Junior teams in to appropriate competitions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Displaying a methodical and organised approach to tasks, good communication skills and good teamwork ability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in helping, please contact Donald Amour (<em>donaldamour@btinternet.com<\/em>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Club Secretary Clydesdale Hockey Club is one of the leading hockey clubs in Scotland with teams playing at the highest levels of domestic competition and in European events.&nbsp; The Club has a large junior section and offers opportunities for all ages to get involved.
