Hi all,
We all know that this has been a very different season. The usual routine has been disrupted. Despite this, the section has made great efforts to adhere to the guidelines and to keep activity going for both junior and senior members. One affect of the disruption was the delay to the Annual Players’ Meeting, which is traditionally held in spring. The meeting’s purpose is to review the year and vote in office bearers, most importantly the two representatives who will represent the section for the club’s Executive Committee but also find other volunteers who will be vital to running a successful club. Due to the constraints of the current guidelines, we are now keen to hold the meeting on Zoom.
The meeting will be on Friday 27th November, 7.30pm start. The meeting details have been sent out to all members.
I will restrict the meeting to an hour maximum. The agenda will be a short “state of the nation” update and then election of office bearers for next year.
If you have any issues you wish to be covered, we will have an ‘Any Other Business’ part of the meeting and I would ask if you could please notify myself or Rachel Brewer in advance.
